Dr. John P. “Jack” Eriksmoen has enjoyed practicing dentistry in Newport Beach since 1971. He was born and raised in Glendale, California, and graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1967. He subsequently served on the U.S.C. faculty as an Associate Professor of Fixed Prosthodontics, and in 1987 was honored as a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a lecturer in the field of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dentistry, and served as clinical investigator in an FDA Clinical Trial studying Migraine headache prevention.

Dr. Eriksmoen is active in numerous dental organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Association of Hospital Dentists, the Academy of Dentistry for the Handicapped, the American Society for Geriatric Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and is on staff at Hoag Hospital. He is a member of an ongoing continuing education seminar on Cosmetic, Reconstructive, and Implant Dentistry, has served twice as Chairman of Continuing Education and has chaired several other committees for the Orange County Dental Society, and has been a Peer Review examiner since 1994.

Dr. Eriksmoen is the proud father of four children. Ashley earned her Masters Degree in Furniture Design at Rhode Island School of Design. She now makes wood and metal sculptures and studio furniture and teaches design in the Bay area. August is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Now married and living in New York City, he works on Broadway (Rent, All Shook Up) and travels nationally as a musical director and conductor, and performs on piano and guitar. Brandi is a graduate of Tufts University, served in the Peace Corps in Morocco, and is on the National Park Service career track, currently stationed in Great Basin National Park, Nevada. Brandi and her husband, Ben, had their first child, Sam, in June, 2004. Whitney attended the University of Vermont, majoring in Religion and History, and presently resides in Oakland, where she tutors youth. The Eriksmoen family enjoys skiing, surfing, travel, and golf.
