Registered Dental Hygienist
Linda Rasner, R.D.H., joined our staff in 1987 and recently retired from active practice. She continues at our office as a frequent substitute. Linda is a native Californian, raised in Yorba Linda, having attended Fullerton College and Cal State Fullerton. She then went to Boston to obtain her Dental Hygiene degree from Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists in 1971 as a member of the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society.
Over the years, Linda has been very active in dental hygiene organizations. She served as president of both the Orange County Dental Hygienists’ Society and the Southern California Dental Hygienists’ Association. Honored by appointment of then Governor Deukmejian, she served as a member of the Committee on Dental Auxiliaries of the Dental Board for nine years, including two years a Chairperson. She also served by appointment to the Diversion Evaluation Committee of the Dental Board for nine years. In addition, Linda was involved in the administration of the Dental Hygiene Licensing examination for the State of California for over 10 years.
Linda and her husband currently live in Corona del Mar and have been very active in local activities, including membership in the Corona del Mar Residents’ Association where Linda serves on the Board.
Over the last 15 years, Linda has been part of an all women’s sailing crew and enjoys spending time racing on a Santana 30 named Valentine during the summer evenings. Other times, you might find Linda working out at the gym, gardening, cooking or just enjoying a good book.
