Linda Rasner, R.D.H., joined our staff in 1987 and recently retired from active practice. She continues at our office as a frequent substitute. Linda is a native fourth generation Californian, raised in Yorba Linda, having attended Fullerton College and Cal State Fullerton. She then went to Boston to obtain her Dental Hygiene degree from Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists in 1971 as a member of the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society.

Over the years, Linda has been very active in dental hygiene organizations. She served as president of the Orange County Dental Hygienists’ Society and the Southern California Dental Hygienists’ Association. Honored by appointment of then Governor Deukmejian, she served as a member of the Committee on Dental Auxiliaries of the Dental Board for nine years, including two years a Chairperson. She also served on the Diversion Evaluation Committee of the Dental Board for nine years. Linda is still involved in the administration of the licensing examination for Registered Dental Hygienists in California.

Linda and her husband have a passion for flying and like to spend time traveling in their airplane which is kept at Long Beach Airport. She also has developed an interest in sailing and is a member of an all women’s crew on a Santana 30 named Valentine. In her spare time Linda also enjoys working out at the gym, gardening or a night at the theater.
